Training Criteria

This one-day, intensive training is for service providers, and administrative level staff, who work as in the Human Service field as supervisors, counselors, therapists, and peer recovery coaches. The training requires the purchase of “The 100 Most Commonly Seen Unconscious Lies Workbook and Lie/Truth Cards Set.”

Training Description:

This intensive one-day, work session will provide service providers with an understanding of the concept known as “TheraVisionSM.” The goal of the training is to provide tools for service providers to assist them in addressing their own issues in order to better serve clients.Objectives:1) Participants will be able to identify how the unconscious self-concept is formed.2) Participants will be able to identify the basic principles of TheraVisionSM. 3) Participants be able to identify how people’s unaddressed issues impact the functionality of programs and organizations. 4) Participants will be able to articulate what the term “My issues affect my work” means for them personally. 5) Participants will be able to articulate how to use TheraVisionSM tools individually as well as articulate how to set up a TheraVisionSM workgroup with colleagues and/or at their organizations. 

About the Program Director and Group Facilitator: 

Anneshia Freeman MBA, MSW, CADC, CPRM, CPRC, is the creator and Director of a copyrighted, trademarked, cognitive restructuring and re-socialization program entitled The Lies That Bind – The Legacy of the Locks® – also trademarked as The Lies That Bind®. The program is based on the work of several experts in the fields of neuroscience and psychology.  Anneshia integrates concepts from neuroscience, psychology, and computer programming along with 15 years of participant/observation, exploratory, ethnographic research experience into one innovative cause and effect treatment methodology.

The program was initially piloted within the 61st District Court’s Start Treatment of Prostitution (STOP) program for four years and yielded tremendous results. Anneshia was employed at Arbor Circle for seven yearswhere she originally trained nine MSW therapists in her program methodology and later trained 16 Arbor Circle program staff in the advanced LTB methodology. The LTB program was piloted within the Mission Inn program for four years. The Mission Inn Program assists women with children under the age of five in stopping the generational cycles of drug addiction and poverty in their families. The Lies That Bind® utilized by 61st District Court’s Drug Court and Sobriety Court Programs from 2004 – 2015 delivered by Anneshia. In 2013, Ms. Freeman received a Drug Court Hero Award by the Michigan Association of Drug Court Professionals for the impact of her Women’s Trauma Group. The court continued to utilize the program provided by a counselor trained, and certified, to deliver the model until he retired in August of 2020. Anneshia worked as an outreach counselor with Arbor Circle’s Street Outreach Program for 2.5 years. Street Outreach is a program that services inner-city youth ages 21 and under. 

Anneshia developed an adolescent version of The Lies That Bind® Program which services traumatized, high-risk, inner-city youth. The youth program has been utilized, and is currently being utilized, by multiple organizations in Michigan and Ohio.

Course Fees
The fee for this training is $150.00 which includes the workbook “The 100 Most Commonly Seen Unconscious Lies” and two sets of 100 Lie/Truth cards. The cards sets are “The 100 Most Commonly Seen Unconscious Victim Lies” and “The 100 Most Commonly Seen Unconscious Villain Lies.”

NOTE: For service providers who already have the workbook and cards sets, the cost for the training is $50.
